Terms of use

1. Acceptance

These terms govern the use of My Exam IA, a service provided by the party identified in the Legal notice. By creating an account or using the platform, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, you must not use the service.

2. What is My Exam IA

My Exam IA is a study support tool: from the notes you upload, it generates summaries, outlines, flashcards, and practice exams, and grades your answers using artificial intelligence.

The corrections and grades generated by the AI are for guidance only. They do not constitute an official assessment and do not replace the judgment of a teacher or the relevant educational institution. My Exam IA does not guarantee that the generated content is free of errors.

3. Registration and account

To use the platform you need to create an account with truthful information. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out from your account.

Minors: use of My Exam IA by children under 14 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian, in line with the minimum age for giving one's own consent to the processing of personal data set by Spanish law (Article 7 of Organic Law 3/2018, on the Protection of Personal Data and the guarantee of digital rights). Users between 14 and 17 years old may register on their own.

4. Permitted use

By using My Exam IA you agree to:

• Only upload content you have the right to use (your own notes or material you can legitimately use for personal study purposes).
• Not use the service to generate or spread illegal or defamatory content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties.
• Not attempt to access other users' accounts, nor overload or interfere with the platform's operation.
• Not present the result of an AI grading as an official grade to a third party.

5. Your content

The PDFs, photos, and other material you upload remain yours. You only grant us the license necessary to process them and generate the summaries, outlines, flashcards, and exams you request from them. You can delete your content at any time from Manage Documents, and your entire account from your Profile.

6. Plans and payments

The Free plan has a monthly limit on AI usage. The paid plans shown on the Pricing page are not yet active ("Coming soon"); once they are, these terms will be updated with the applicable billing, renewal, and cancellation conditions.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We try to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee it: there may be interruptions due to maintenance or causes beyond our control. We may modify or discontinue features, giving reasonable advance notice when the change is significant.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, My Exam IA will not be liable for academic decisions made relying solely on AI-generated content, nor for indirect damages arising from use of the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect legal or service changes. If the change is substantial, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform before it takes effect.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, and to the extent permitted by consumer protection regulations, the courts of the user's place of residence will have jurisdiction.
